The Gwen Frostic Woodland Shade Garden at Meijer Gardens has its first sculpture.

The Grand Rapids Press reports that installation of Korean artist Lee Ufan's minimalist and earthwork piece, "Relatum: Forest Path," was completed recently.

Elements include two large boulders with large steel plates set in the ground between them.

The boulders were selected from local quarries. A crushed stone path goes to and from the sculpture.

The artist's work can also be found at the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, the Tate Gallery in London and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
