On September 15, 1970, Shelley Speet Mills was murdered. She was a 19-year old bride, married just 17 days, when someone entered her Heritage Hill apartment stabbing her 32 times.
On the eve of the 46th anniversary of this crime, a documentary focusing on the cold case investigation will be shown Wednesday, September 14th at 7:00 and 9:00 PM at Wealthy Street Theater. It’s called “Heritage Hill Bride: The Murder of Shelley Speet Mills.”
Filmmaker David Schock and videographer Phil Blauw together have produced several cold case murder films including “Who Killed Janet Chandler.” WGVU caught up with Schock near the original scene of the crime.
