Hosted at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan this year (the former Grandville Banquet Center attached to our kitchen and distribution facility), you'll enjoy a lively program including trivia, a panel of volunteers, messages from our seniors, and a lunch prepared by our kitchen. You'll walk away from this free luncheon with a greater knowledge of the impact of Meals on Wheels Western Michigan and how your support provides so much more than a meal. You'll also get a taste of our kitchen and enjoy the company of like-minded folks at your table.

Join us to celebrate summer and experience the wonders of la dolce vita at Around the World — A Taste of Italy on June 5, 2026, at Van Andel Institute.

Returning for its 19th year, Around the World will feature Italian-inspired food and wine, bringing the refined flavors of the region to Grand Rapids’ summer celebration. The evening will also feature live entertainment and joyful company, all in support of Van Andel Institute for Education.

Suggested attire is summer casual. Complimentary valet parking is available at the main entrance of VAI.
