Grand Rapids School of Dance, the area’s newest ballet studio, will celebrate its grand opening with a weekend of free classes for all ages! Grand Rapids School of Dance welcomes the community to the open house event to experience a preview of its brand-new facility, curriculum and faculty before its regularly programmed classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021. The family-friendly event will include free classes for all experience levels along with a ballet-themed craft station for children. Ballet classes for children, youth and adults will occur on a rolling basis both days, beginning every 30 minutes. Attendees are encouraged to participate at any time as they sample the studio’s regular programming before classes officially start in September. Open house attendees will also receive a special $25 off registration for fall classes when purchased onsite. Open house classes will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
