We speak with Beth Allison Barr about her book ‘The Making of Biblical Womanhood: How the Subjugation of Women Became Gospel Truth.’ Dr. Barr will be taking part in a webinar hosted by Dr. Amanda Benckhuysen and Rev. Elaine May of the Christian Reformed Church on November 17.
Beth Allison Barr received her B.A. from Baylor University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Medieval History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Beth is also the author of the book ‘The Pastoral Care of Women in Late Medieval England’ and a regular contributor to The Anxious Bench, a religious history blog on Patheos.
