Arborialis: An ArtPrize Experience

A new experience is coming to Grand Rapids’ ArtPrize this fall, and tickets are already on sale for it

ArtPrize 2025 is bringing a new, interactive attraction to the festival this fall.

Arborialis is a three-story inflatable handmade art installation people can enter.

“You go inside. It is completely lit by the sun so it's a different world of like shifting colors and hues inside and you can go in and sit down or walk around. It's like a giant maze. A really calming environment, there’s a soundtrack in there. We're pretty excited about it. “

Director of Production and Operations Theresa Anderson explains that while the art competition itself remains free including opening, halftime and closing ceremonies, this additional experience has a fee to enter.

“It’s designed to enhance and elevate people’s time during the event and that is why this is a ticketed event. We have an early bird pricing right now. Tickets are just $10, and you can get them on the ArtPrize website.”

ArtPrize 2025 runs September 19 through October 4.
