Hurricane Florence will bring "catastrophic flash flooding" to the Carolinas, the National Hurricane Center says. Sustained hurricane-force winds are hitting North Carolina.

September is Natural Disaster Awareness Month, talking today to Monica Sanders, about tips to prepare for a disaster. Sanders has survived Katrina, plus works with the Tulane University Disaster Resilience Academy.
