Downtown Grand Rapids, MI
The Right Place

Coming up on Tuesday, June 13th, the City of Grand Rapids City Commission will welcome residents and community partners to a neighbor engagement session and City Commission Night Out.

It will be held at the Gerald R. Ford Academic Center on Madison Ave. SE. This is the second of three resident engagement and Commission Night Out meetings set this year.

A news release says the Commission Night Out starts with an engagement session that will highlight the work that’s been completed in the Third Ward. It will then allow those in attendance to meet City Staff from 24 departments and offices. There, staff can answer questions. They will also update those in attendance about the roles of various offices and how they work in the community, offer updates on major engagements and plans as well as listen to feedback on past engagements.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with the official City Commission meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m.
