Hackley Public Library

Hackley Public Library is providing a series of free resources to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month. Events kick off on May 6, running through May 25, and include a Yin Yoga Class, a Mental Health Q&A, an Art Therapy program, and a Music & Well-Being session.

Marketing and Program Director, Mallory Metzger, says the library has tried to be intentional about creating programs for everyone’s interests.

"The curator for these virtual events was our adult services librarian Mary Ruge and she really wanted to have a well-rounded look on these programs, something for everyone," Metzger said, "...Everyone is kind of going through tough times, and then especially with the pandemic and the issues surrounding our current climate it’s definitely important to maintain your own wellbeing.”

All events are virtual and free to the public. The library is asking those interested in attending to register ahead of time. For registration and event details, click here.
