One day after Michigan Leiutenant Governor Brian Calley announced his candidacy for governor, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder joined Calley in Kent County Tuesday afternoon for a tour of the Roman Manufacturing Plant in Wyoming.  Speaking to the media at the facility, Snyder praised Calley for his service over the past 7 years, but stopped short of officially giving Calley his full endorsement.

"I can't do that, its not endorsement season yet," Snyder said.

Meanwhile Calley said he is running for Governor to "continue the comeback" and to "make Michigan the most prosperous state in the nation."

Calley joins an already crowded Republican field in the race for Governor, including Attorney General Bill Schuette.
