Evangelical minister Nathaniel Manderson returns to Common Threads to continue our conversation on Christian Nationalism

Rev. Nathaniel Manderson returns to Common Threads to continue our conversation about Christian Nationalism and his Salon.com article, ‘Christian nationalism is rooted in stupid tough-guy misogyny: What would Jesus say? - I'm an evangelical minister: Christian nationalism is a bizarre, misogynist fantasy — and totally un-Christian’

Rev. Nathaniel Manderson is an ordained minister and a self-identified white, working-class poor, Bible believing Christian. He received his Master’s degree in Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Throughout his professional and ministerial career, he has been a dedicated pastor, counselor, adviser and advocate. As an academic adviser/counselor, he has served first-generation and low-income students, along with being a paper delivery man, a construction worker, a FedEx package handler and whatever else he could do to try to take care of his family.
