Barbara McHugh joins us to continue our conversation on her book 'Bride of the Buddha.' Barbara is a published poet and novelist with many years of professional experience editing fiction, newsletters, and technical documents. She has an M.A. in English Literature from N.Y.U. and a Ph.D. in Religion and Literature from the University of California at Berkeley and the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley.
Barbara has been studying Buddhism and practicing meditation for decades. She has taught many introductory courses on both topics, and co-leads an ongoing sitting group in Berkeley. She is on the Board of Directors of Marin Sangha.
