A 23-year-old motorist has been arrested after crashing a car into several police vehicles while fleeing authorities in western Michigan's Ottawa County. The Ottawa County sheriff's office says a deputy began to pursue a Toyota Camry Tuesday afternoon after seeing the car weave in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed on westbound Interstate 196 in Zeeland Township. The motorist refused to stop and exited the freeway where the Camry struck a sheriff's car and two Zeeland police vehicles before driving away.

An armed and dangerous homicide suspect led Wyoming and Grand Rapids Police on highway chase ending with a deadly force encounter on the U.S. 131 S-Curve in downtown Grand Rapids.

What began as an early morning homicide at the City of Wyoming’s Creekside Estates Mobile Home Park ended with the armed, wanted suspect exchanging gunfire with Grand Rapids Police atop the S-Curve in downtown Grand Rapids.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested after leading police on a chase that ended on a western Michigan freeway.

Grand Rapids police say shots were fired Thursday morning, but no officers were struck. It was not immediately known if the man being pursued was wounded.

Officers in nearby Wyoming named the man as a suspect in an earlier slaying at a mobile home park. The pickup truck he was driving was spotted about 10:15 a.m. and police chased the vehicle onto US-131. The chase ended near downtown Grand Rapids.
