Rabbi Krishef is the rabbi of Congregation Ahavas Israel, a Conservative synagogue in Grand Rapids, Michigan and blogs at EmbodiedTorah.com. He created, coordinates and writes for the popular weekly “Ethics and Religion Talk” column for Mlive.com and the Grand Rapids Press.   Rabbi Krishef is active in the West Michigan interfaith movement and helped form an interfaith clergy council that meets in Grand Rapids.

A national Muslim-Jewish alliance formed to fight hate crimes and forge better ties between them is branching out to build on its mission. The Muslim Jewish Advisory Council met Tuesday in Detroit suburb of Dearborn, one of the largest and oldest communities of Arabs and Muslims in the United States.
