America’s Tallest Singing Christmas Tree is celebrating its 35th season performing to sellout crowds at Muskegon’s Frauenthal Theater this weekend.

“It’s five stories tall, 67 feet, it’s decorated just like your home tree with tinsel and angels and all of that and 25,000 led lights.”

Shawn Lawton is Director of Choirs at Mona Shores High School.

America’s Tallest Singing Christmas Tree calls West Michigan home. Muskegon’s Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts hosted Mona Shores High School’s 33rd annual America's Tallest Singing Christmas Tree concert this year.

WGVU visited with the choir for a behind-the-scenes tour of a lakeshore holiday tradition.
