Small business owner Tommy Brann is the Republican incumbent serving Michigan’s 77th House District. He’s on the House Appropriations Committee chairing the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs/Insurance and Financial Services subcommittee. He believes in lowering tax rates and increasing law enforcement funding keeping neighborhoods safe.

“I’m not a big shot. I’m wearing an apron now and I’m going to sweep my parking lot in a couple of minutes. I’m a blue collar restaurant owner and I bring my restaurant, small business, my employee’s problems, my customer’s problems, I bring them to Lansing. I’m good at this job and I care about my constituents and I’m available. You can find me at my restaurant any time.”

Brann’s challenger is Republican Jordan T. Oesch. He opposes new taxes, would seek to repeal the state’s gasoline tax and look for ways to shrink the state’s budget.

“I hope for anyone looking for a representative to advance their community’s values to Lansing, and help create improved economic opportunity for everyone in the state, will consider supporting me in the August 7th primary. Thank you.”
