Daniela García is has been a State House Representative in the 90th District since 2014. A Holland, Michigan native, Garcia is now running for the State Senate in the 30th District and says while she is a fiscal conservative, she has a big heart for the community.

Some things that are really important to me in terms of priorities: making sure that we have a fiscally responsible budget, making sure we are addressing auto-no fault insurance where we are guaranteeing savings, making sure we have a work force that is prepared and ready to step into the jobs that we have available now and in the future, but I want folks to know that I stand with our law enforcement, I support life, and I am going to work very hard to represent Ottawa County as I do now in the legislature, I hope to earn everyone’s vote on August 7th, and thank you for the opportunity.”

Roger Victory has been a State House Representative in the 88th District since 2014. A fourth generation Hudsonville area resident and is a lifelong member of First Hudsonville Christian Reformed Church, Victory says his campaign is focused on “preserving Ottawa County values.”

“I’m Roger Victory, fourth generation Ottawa County farmer. A local business owner, and Republican candidate for the State Senate.  I am asking for your support to continue my proven record of standing up for our Ottawa County values. In my time as state representative I have saved Ottawa County schools $30 million, passed legislation to build better roads, bridges and utilities. And I am the only candidate who voted to lower our auto insurance rates. I am asking you to Victory for State Senate. So together, we can preserve and protect our way of life in Ottawa County.”

The Primary is set for Tuesday, August 7th.
