U.S. News & World Report has released its Best Colleges Rankings and Grand Valley State University is receiving high marks once again.

Grand Valley  is experiencing a déjà vu with U.S. News and World Reports 2019 Best Colleges Rankings. Grand Valley is listed 3rd for "Top Public Regional Universities in the Midwest." In 2018 it held that position. Coming in at number one is Truman State University and number two is University of Northern Iowa.

Overall, in the "Best Regional Universities in the Midwest" category, Butler University and Creighton University are numbers one and two. GVSU is ranked 29th. It was ranked 29th in the 2018.

Also in the 2019 rankings GVSU is 14th for “Best Value” and 9th as “Most Innovative.”

The news dovetails data released by the university indicating the fall semester’s incoming first-year class of nearly 4,400 is the largest in school history. It’s an increase of more than 4 percent over the last incoming class.
