Clinton to deliver jobs speech in Macomb County

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton travels to Michigan tomorrow to deliver a speech on jobs and the economy. Her visit follows a jobs speech Monday in Detroit by Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Statewide polls show Clinton is leading Trump by several points, but those same polls show Macomb County, where she will speak, remains toss-up country. Clinton will appear at a factory in Warren. She’ll reassure manufacturing workers that her plan will rev up an economic recovery that’s been sustained but anemic. Clinton has promised the biggest investments in creating new jobs since the Second World War. The Clinton campaign says if her plan is fully enacted, the result would be 320 thousand jobs in Michigan alone.
