The UAW and automakers have been working to get auto plants ready for the return of workers.
Gary Johnson is Ford’s global Chief Manufacturing and Labor Officer. He says everyone will be trained and receive personal protective equipment.
"Requirements will be in line with social distancing, you know, break areas being spread out. Everybody wear a mask. In some cases, with certain stations being close to each other will have safety glasses or a shield. And then obviously been doing a lot of deep cleaning to prepare for this over the last few weeks."
