Two charged for alleged threats made to Grand Rapids learning center

Two men were arraigned Monday over alleged threats made to a Grand Rapids adult education campus.

22-year old Alexander Rose and 21-year-old Mark Hollinshead each face a charge of False Report or Threat of Terrorism.

The Grand Rapids Police Department says both men made verbal and online threats through social media to “shoot up” the Beckwith Adult Education Center.

Both men take classes at the center.

Police say the threats allegedly occurred around midnight on Monday.

Officers arrested both men, who were being held on bond.
