Street performers are being added to the mix of entertainment this spring and summer in Muskegon.
The Muskegon Chronicle reports the new Street Performer Series will take over downtown's sidewalks, street corners and stages on June 3 and Aug. 5.
On each night, dozens of performers including puppeteers, magicians, face-painters, chalk artists and singers will set up along Western Avenue.
The events are part of the First Fridays initiative that aims to bring entertainment to downtown Muskegon.
There's also the popular Parties in the Park concert series in Hackley Park that's helping to attract people to the area.
