DisArt director Chris Smit says collaborating with the annual comedy festival was a natural fit -- both see humor as a way to open dialogue. "What we find really exciting is authentic laughter that comes from the disabled perspective," he says, "and that can be restorative in a way that no other emotion can be." DisArt sponsors national performer Drew Lynch’s appearance Thursday night at the Wealthy Theatre.
