WGVU continues previewing the field of four Republicans running in Michigan’s 73rd House district.

“My name is Ken Fortier and I’m running for state representative in the 73rd district.”

Fortier is one of three Republicans running in the August primary.

"I’ve never done anything in politics before. I’ve been a small business owner for most of my life. My number one priority is helping kids in schools be able to read and connect with their communities. Please check out kenformichigan.com for more details. Thank you so much.”

One of Fortier’s three Republican challengers is David Spencer. He’s a CPA, tax specialist and financial advisor currently serving as Cannon Township trustee.

“As a candidate my priorities are education, including skilled trades, fixing the infrastructure attracting new business to Michigan, lowering automobile insurance premiums and help curb the opioid epidemic. Hard work motivates me. The people of the 73rd district will come first and I will get the job done. As a pro-life, fiscal conservative I am asking for your vote on August 7th. Thank you very much.”

Joining Spencer and Fortier in the Republican primary are Lynn Afendoulis and Robert Regan.
